As you may be aware, the Government announced that dental practices could reopen from 8 June 2020, subject to practices having in place appropriate hygiene procedures and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
We are now in a position to provide a limited range of urgent services in line with these requirements. We are currently unable to provide Aerosol Generating Procedures (AGPs). We are awaiting the arrival of appropriate masks and then the official mask test-fitting before we can perform AGPs.
We have now seen our first patient to test our processes, and therefore are able to offer this limited range of services. Routine dentistry is still not available, so examinations cannot yet be offered.
