Our Orgreave Dental Surgery Practice Membership Package offers a simple, flexible way to pay for your dental care and spread the cost of keeping your mouth healthy. Your monthly payment provides you with a comprehensive programme of maintenance, prevention and treatment discounts. It allows the cost of your regular, routine care to be spread out over the whole year.
Unlike capitation schemes, you do not need to be dentally fit to join the scheme – you need to be either a regular patient here, or came in and have a full assessment, at our normal charge, which is currently £80.00. We offer two packages for adults, and a children’s package.
What is Included?
Plan A
• Two dental health checks and an oral health assessment and mouth cancer screening, per year.
• Two hygiene appointments per year to help prevent gum disease and keep your mouth feeling fresh.
• Any necessary x-rays.
• A 10% discount on any additional work you may need, including cosmetic treatments.
• Up to £10,000 cover for dental accidents, emergency and out of hours insurance.
Plan B
• Includes all of the above, with 4 hygiene visits per year.
What is included in the Dental Accident & Emergency Insurance?
The practice membership package is not an insurance scheme, but we have included an insurance element to pay for the cost of dental treatment required if you damage your teeth as a result of an accident, or need a dentist out of hours, or in an emergency. The cost is included in your monthly payment, and your insurance covers you anywhere in the world for:
• Accidental damage to your teeth as a result of a fall or blow.
• Emergency treatment when away from home or outside normal surgery hours.
What is the cost of the Practice Membership Package?
There is a one-off administration fee of £10 for Practice Plan, who administer the scheme.
Monthly payments are:
Plan A – £14
Plan B – £21.50
Children aged 5-18 – £5
Children under 5 are free, (where parent(s) are members of the scheme)
